Food doesn't have to control your life anymore

Does the thought of food cause you stress?  Do you spend hours a day thinking about food?  You are not alone.

Healing your relationship with food is an important and empowering journey that many individuals take when struggling with disordered eating, emotional eating, or an unhealthy relationship with food. As a mental health therapist, I view this process as an opportunity to help clients move beyond restrictive diets, guilt-driven eating patterns, or emotional associations with food, and instead cultivate a more balanced, mindful, and compassionate approach to nourishment.

Food is often deeply intertwined with emotions, cultural influences, and personal beliefs. For many people, food can be a source of comfort, control, anxiety, or shame. These complex relationships with food can lead to cycles of overeating, undereating, or disordered eating behaviours. Therapy aims to untangle these emotional and psychological dynamics, creating a healthier, more intuitive relationship with food.

The goal is to create a compassionate, realistic, and flexible relationship with food that supports both your mental and physical health.
